From what you've included in your posting, it SEEMS as though you've
attended what should be called "Scoutmastership Fundamentals". However, only
your trainers know for sure!
In the years I've been involved with leader training, the first intensive
training of scout leaders has been called many things and has been organized
in several different ways. The old "University of Scouting" used to satisfy
the requirement; then it was "Scout Leader Basic Training"; now it's
"Scoutmastership Fundamentals". The training for SM Fundamentals should be
divided into three parts: 1, The Troop Meeting; 2, Troop Organization; 3, The
Outdoor Program. The last (3) is the weekend practicum. Does this sound like
what you've just gone through? (You should have received a certificate which
states what specific training you've undergone.) If you are still unsure,
check with your DE or the Service Center.
As for whether or not this counts as "further training", that's going
to be the decision of your council training committee.
I hope this helps.
