I've seen a lot of events let the participants come up with their own den
names. This helps build group identity, especially when the participants
are told to come up with flags, cheers, totems, etc. for their group.
What you could do is assign each den a letter, and they have to come up
with an (Indian) name that begins with that letter. Since you have 27
groups (wow!) you could add CH as a letter.
