I agree Don Scouting runs through families, but not receiving Eagle. My son
is 15 and a Life Scout with 23 MBs, he is a few (required) MBs and a project
away from his Eagle. He is a 3rd generation American and 3rd generation
Scout, and will soon be the first in our family to be an Eagle Scout.
I hope his children will followin his example. My father and I were both
Scouts, and moved into being Scouters as adults, and encouraged our sons to
be a part of Scouting. My brother was a Scout, and his son is almost old
enough for Cubs now. That makes almost 5 Scouts in 3 generations and no
