HOWEVER!!! It is NOT the SAME tri-colors as in the past. The BAR is NOW
a NEW straight BAR, and it used to be curved. The WEBELOs hat for pins was
a disaster! Hats were lost and pins fell off faster than supply could make
them. I was amazed at how fast they gave up ont he HAT pins concept.
I am also amazed that councils still SELL HAT PINS! But there is no official
place that they can be worn, except for the WEBELOS HATs! BUT people still
contunue to buy them and I expect to see people wearing up to 100 on one HAT
at the jambo! SO, what is the official HAT PIN POLICY anyway?
Seems like maybe there should be an international hat pin policy since
almost every country seems to have them at Jambo and world jambo's.
But why does BSA make and sell an item that can not be "OFFICIALLY" worn?
Why does my wife move the furniture evertime I get used to where it is?
