Someone on the professional staff should be designated the professional
advisor to training. In our council he works with the Council Training
Chairman who meets with the District Training Chairs each quarter. Reporting
to the Council Training Chairman are usually two additional volunteers; one
is the WoodBadge Coordinator who ultimately recruits the current WoodBadge
Course Director. Sometimes the Coordinator and Course Director are one
in the same if there is only one qualified "Four Beader" in the Council
which there is now. That person is also the Council Training Chairman so
right now he is working for himself. We are fixing to get another four beader
next month so hopefully we can remedy that situation.
Anyway all WoodBadge info that comes in is passed to one of those three folks.
just my 2 cents.
