I just talked to our Scout Executive who verified that he only receives
information on Woodbadge courses conducted by OUR region.
The reason that so few people know about Walking Woodbadge is probably this:
WWB is conducted by the Southern region, NOT Philmont. This means that
WWB does NOT show up under Philmont training, and it does not show up under
their own region's Woodbadge. The only people who would hear about it
through established channels are the people in Southern region, since that
is the region that hosts it.
Once again, if you want info on WWB call Southern region at 404-421-1601.
I would appreciate it if the first person that does this could relay to this
list what they learn. If you call your own region about it, they will:
a. ask you who is hosting it and
b. give the Southern region's phone number
so save yourself the first call!
