You haven't seen nothing until you have seen CHALLENGE Valley!
Most parents would not let kids do that IF they saw it first!
Anyway, I don't have the schedule yet, but there has been
a special CUB/WEBELOS day at some of the past jambos. After
openning DAY, you should be able to find hotels with a 1/2
hour to 45 minute drive of A/P Hill.
There will be limited things for CUBS to DO. Mostly to
observe SCOUTING in action. I am a BIG Jambo fan, but
others may say it it NOT worth your time to visit. IT is
definitly a HIGHlite of scouting for many scouts to participate.
IF there is a special CUB/WEBELOS day this year, it might
be more worth a visit, beacuse there would be more stuff for
CUBS on that day.
Otherwise, try to find out where the troop from your local
council will be camping, and see if you can arrange a VISIT
to the site, or find out where they will be running the SHOW
and DO events.
