THE guy (town paramedic) doing the first aid, has some kind of
NOTICE From BSA, as a update/suppliment to the first aid MB.
AT least he said he did, I HAD not seen it, BUT, he said that
the THREE hours of CPR was NOW required for first aid, and I
had also thought that was the way they ran it at summer camp.
BUT at camp, they had ONE CPR trainer for both first aid and
LIFE saving. BUT, if the guy signing the card wants to see
each scout DEMONSTRATE CPR on the dummy, I guess that is his
option. I guess an extra three hours won't hurt them.
I am a little concerned that they are taught a skill that
they a technically NOT certified to use.
Thanks for the specific refs as well.
