It sounds like I've been mis-informed about the fuels issue.
I KNOW that this is Baltimore Area Council policy and I TOUGHT
that I'd read it in Scouting literature. It sounds like I've
been misled on that.
One question came up about backpacking stoves. I have a
Primus "Grasshopper" that I've used for several years that has
given me a lot of good service. It's basically a tripod with one
leg being the propane cylinder (sp?). While I don't believe that
it's ecologically sound for weekend camping (I prefer running
propane stuff off a small re-fillable tank), for backpacking it's
