A co-worker and I were talking this morning and came up with an
interesting thought. First a few questions.
We had the Jamboree On The Air last year. Is any portion of
it going to be done again at National Jamboree?
What we were thinking about was a packet switching tranciever
set up at Jamboree that would serve two purposes. One to
talk to the world via radio. The other to form a link to
INTERNET/BITNET and SCOUTS-L.
While we're still trying to chase down a more direct connection
(cheap phone calls would be nice) this may be another means to
My co-worker is going to ask the amateur radio forum about
the what they think.
If you have ideas, send them up.
