Still working on that one..... If anyone has a copy of _Scouting_ from
last spring, where they covered the National Meeting in Cincinnati
(that I could not attend!), please brouse through it and see if you
can identify the corporate entity our new President is from. I can
take it from there.........

I take it that your District elections were, can we say, "staged"??
I'm thinking that these meetings where we are "supposed to be electing
our new District officers for the coming year" are only really
"meetings where everyone plays musical chairs". I have YET to see a
REAL ELECTION take place...I have seen lots of affirmations, however
(and unfourtunately, been a part of one such affirmation (*frown

Yep..the rules have changed somewhat. I am getting copies of the
Council/District Nominating Booklet, # 7519; the District Nominating
Committee form # 33159; and the Council version, 6158. These are all
the latest editions (91 for the booklet; 92 for the forms) and as soon
as I have them, I'll copy them (for me) and send you the original
packet. According to both a SE and the lady at Council Services that
handles these things, the procedure has changed slightly this fall and the new
worksheets and booklets to explain the changes have not finished the
editing process (read this to mean that they haven't got all of the
"bugs" out of it)!
That's the best that I can do from this end, Kathie. As soon as they
appear in my s-mail box here, I'll take them around to the mail etc.,
make my copies, and then forward it to you.

I am glad that I could be of help to you and your District. Please let
us all know what happens, and in the meantime, I am still trying to
find the National President's address (and I assume you mean his REAL
address, the corporate address and not the BSA address that gets read
by Ben Love!)
