Thanks. And thanks to all who responded. I should have known it was a
local award, but I have really been interested in the diversity of local
requirements. If you want to share more - keep them coming.
As to this weekend, we are currently under a winter storm warning and
if the freezing rain tonight doesn't vaporize all of the snow, the
new snow set for fri and Sat will make sure the camp is in the
right spirit for the award.
I found something that all of you campers will want to try. The NOAA's
every four hours weather forcasts are on line and can be accessed via
internet. I will make this a separate posting to get the title right.
BTW. My committee chairman still thinks polar bear should be awarded
only for breaking ice and swimming. And this after we spent four
sessions telling the boys how important it is to keep dry. sigh :-)
