mostly to Pauls comments:
I might be OK for the USA and BSA and society in general to be
different if it was better. I used to believe we were better
than everyone else JUST BECAUSE we were the USA. However,
times are changing. The USA is falling behind in the leadership
in many areas. In new reaearch, in medical care, in the steel
and auto industry, in small computers, and audio video equipment
as just a few examples. Having lived in many other parts of the
would, I have seen other ways to live, and other social concepts.
While the USA is still a great place, we are no longer a leader
in many areas. If the USA continues to fall behind in education
and learning how ALL people can live and work and even play together
the decline will continue, as compare to where we could be by the
start of the next century. I am getting off the point of CO-ED BSA,
but it is part of the overall concepts that will hurt the USA if we
continue the practice of prejudice in our youth organizations.
Now my head hurts, too much thinking for a Friday. I'm outa hear.
