The price that Kathie mentioned is the cost of the sylabus, not the course
which will vary from location to location.
As to comparing material, there was a radical revision of the Fundamentals
course when the current troop operations plan was introduced. This was,
I believe, right after the first sylabus was printed. I recall making many
pen and ink changes in my copy the first year I was on staff. The copy I bought
latter had those changes in it.
Now the thing needs a few more changes. Will it ever end?
BTW, we have been using certificate blanks and laser printer to make our own
personalized certificates. I think it adds a special touch.
We also have added some resource material to our handout book so that it
rivals the Woodbadge book in volume (not content). Each participant gets a
silk screened three ring binder to hold it in (cost $1.25 each).
