After all the discussion on service stars I thought I would add my $.02.
I happen to wear 4 stars (and soon 5), and understand the difficulty of
placing them on the shirt and having to take them off. What I do is take
those clear plastic strips they use to hold up the collars on dress shirts
to make something to hold all the stars. That way they are spaced the right
distance apart and the bottom edge of the strip spaces the stars the right
distance from the pocket top or knot. Plus the stars can be taken off as one
Another comment: don't forget that adults wear blue backing for ALL adult
service in ALL areas of Scouting. Yellow, Orange, Brown, Green, & Red backings
are for showing service as a YOUTH in those programs. AND there is no rules
(to my knowledge) on any proper ordering, but personally I would order them.
