The Tiger Cub COACH and/or Group leader is the one who earns the knot.
Not one of the tiger cub parents who is the POD leader.... ALL packs
who have tiger cubs are supposed to have someone on the PACK Committee
who is the TC organizer/coach, and unless they had a new baby every year
they probably do not have a TC. Ours has been 3-4 yrs now as the Orgzr.
Careful reading and interpreting of the reg's. mean that you cannot have
more than one of the "REGISTERED" positions. But you MAY do more than
one job. Our pack has 100+ cubs & webelos, 25+/- TC, 25-30 Regist.ldrs.
for a pinewd, or a B&G (with 250-400 people) you had better believe that
lots of unreg.parents are involved, but also that many ldrs are doing
several tasks to get things done. Yes we twist parents arms to get them
involved at times, etc. etc. but we also have about 8 to 10 ldrs who have
been in the pack 10 plus years, the continuity is wonderful......
....ick, one of my computer just bit the dust, gotta go...bye
