So, "god" can be conceived of and defined in whatever terms one
wants. To one Scout "god" can be an old white male with a long beard,
to another "god" can be the sunrise or the rushing of a river, yet
another can find "god" in the forces that bind sub-atomic particles
or the concept of "singularity". The important thing is that the
Scout is seeker of his "god", whatever he understands that to be and
that he respects the beliefs of others.
Hmmmmmm. Sounds like when you get right down to it, the BSA and
Danish Scout Assn. aren't that far apart after all.
