Kathie posted a statment from BSA that still leaves me with a question,
which impacts a person that I know in scouting. If a PERSON YOUTH or
ADULT in NOT a member of a formal CHURCH, can the pass the "religion"
test? The person may accept a believe in a supreme being, or Christ
or Allah, or even Mohammad, but do not accpect the RULES for any
given church! I believe the correct term may be agnostic! Since
the person has no RULES for the beliefs, and hence no true commitments
to his "religion" can he "PASS THE TEST"? Or does this person get to
stand outside, with his nose pressed against the window, along with
I would like FACTS/RULES if they exist, not just opinion.
Thanks for any information on this seemingly complex issue.
