The reason everyone flocked to you is that you wear more knots
than most 80 year old scouters. I have yet to see anyone wear (or fit)
as much stuff on a uniform than you. I tend to shy away to the "got
it flaunt it" atitude. It is a true conversation piece. I also
tend to feel knots are adult merit badges. In moderation they
award the volenteer but if in quanity(I dont know how many is to many)
it tends to take away from the real purpose(the boys).
Everything in moderation.
Also African/American scouters are rare in most places. I feel that
scouting is experince and if there are not many A/Americans than
to have one as a volenteer is a chance to let the scouts in on another
part of america that they may not have goten to experince.
