I have used the international Scout handshake (which some also call
the BSA Scouting handshake) in Denmark, the USA, France, Sweden,
Germany, and Nepal. At a national jamboree in Denmark, I also used it
when greeting scouts from a couple of African countries and some
Italians (and possibly even more.) They all knew what to do, when I
extended my left hand.
They do not know the handshake in Poland (at least those scouts I
met), but they are also not members of WOSM. They do look upon
themselves as a scouting organization and as I understand it, they
strive to become members of WOSM.
