REF the comment on GLUE on Jambo patches. Do not confuse the old
IRON on GLUE with palstic backs, to prevent the curling of patches.
The 64 NJ patches, mailed out to JAMBO participants were the GLUE
style. HOT iron on the patch, and you were ready to go.
The patches sold at the trading post at 64 do not have the GLUE.
The REPO 64 in the NATIONAL sets from 77 and 81 (I think), have
plastic on the back an not glue. I have all three in my collection
from 64. There was also a WOVEN silk type patch at 64, and there
are tow borders, a dark red-red, and a orange-red border.
Many of the jambo issues have variations, and it is best to get the
patch from someone that you trust or get it authenticated by someone
that has a Jambo collection. The are a lot of really good fakes out there.
