My First rule of computing:
A computer must make a job faster or easier to be needed.
If a troop has a person willing to take the time to computerize
the troop records, and is willing to go to the trouble, more power
to them. But in my case, I feel I could open a record book and find
the right page faster than it takes a pc to boot.
But I hope they backup religiously.
Afterthought: Has anyone considered or does anyone regularly
photocopy their current scouts records? It just dawned on me,
what would happen if the record book was lost........
(Think I'll go call our records ASM.)
