I tend to agree with the comments on rec.scouting so far. The problem as I
see it, is that the debate on athesists and gays is being crossposted to the
athesist and gay newsgroups, so the flames just keep raging. IMHO, neither
side can convince the other and it has degenerated into name calling.
rec.backcountry has some great information, but I relectantly dropped it
because I didn't have time to wade through all of the messages to find
topics of interest.

Well Steve it is really very simple. I traded a Keystone Area CSP for a
Great Trail with Ted Sarah from your council about a year ago. I don't have
any extras, so it isn't on my dup list. For what its worth, I have made
most of my CSP trades with Scouts and Scouters I have met on the fidonet
SCOUTER echo. I run both a fidonet point and a usenet leaf so that I can
get all of the Scouting groups.
