I posted the attached notice to rec.scouting a few days ago, but I
only got one reply so far. I would really like to help these 15 (now
14) Polish Scouts find penpals in the U.S. Could you please help me
finding penpals for them.
If you are not personally interested, then please bring it up with
some of the scouts you deal with as a leader. I think both the Polish
Scouts and your scouts could benefit from the contact.

I just returned from summer camp in Poland. We spent some days in a
camp with Polish Scouts. When they heard about this newsgroup they
asked me to post a request for penpals.
There were 15 Scouts (both boys and girls) who were interested in
having a foreign Scout penpal. They are all around 16 to 18 years of
age. They all speak English (sort of) and want to write in this
language, so language should not be a big problem. They are all from
Kielce, a city between Crakow and Warsaw.
If you are interested in having a Polish Scout penpal, or know of
anybody else who are, then please drop me a note. I will then give
you the address of one (or more) of the Polish Scouts. If there is
overwhelming interest, then I have friends in different parts of
Poland that can contact more Polish Scouts.
