Here's a hint that may be useful... When I noticed that the cover of my new
Handbook was destined to fall off, I applied a strip of 2-inch wide
heavy-duty clear packing tape to the full length of the spine (overlapping
onto the front and back covers by about 1/2 inch each). You can't even see
it (unless you look *real* closely), and I haven't had any more problems
Granted, I don't put the book through the same kind of torture that the boys
do, but it might make their books last a little longer anyway.
