Spare me the heart-wrenching victim story. BSA is teaching "good" scouts
that "bad" scouts can be discriminated against to preserve personal values.
This is not a good lesson. Those who oppose this policy do not necessarily
endorse athiesm or homosexuality. Rather than forcing their personal views
onto Scouting, they are trying to maintain Scouting's benefits through
diversity, the lesson that people of all types can get along and work together.

I would imagine that they would hope that by exposing an 11-year-old
athiest to children of other religions, the child might develop a religious
identity as he matures. The church could easily be upset with Jews, Hindus,
and Moslems. Maybe the Presbyterian Church only have a problem with
discrimination of any type, and don't pick and choose. Just a thought.
