International Summer Camp with Scouts from Mexico

To any interested parties:
The Catalina Council (Southern Arizona) has an international Summer Camp
every two years with the Scouts from Sonora Mexico. We alternate between
Mexico and the U.S. This year the Primaree as we call it, will be at
Catalina's Camp Lawton. Camp Lawton is about one hour from Tucson in the
Catalina Mountains. The camp is set for July 19-25 (one week only).
There is nothing special about this camp (even the pool is real joke!), so
the program would be what is expected from any average Summer Camp. What
makes this camp special is the international flavor of this camp.
Provisional troops are made up of both U.S. and Mexican Scouts with both
U.S. and Mexican Scout leaders. Currently the Mexican have a full
contingient of 125 Scouts. On the U.S. side we are sitting with more empty
spots than we would like to admit.
The cost for the week is $115 (transportation to and from camp is not
included, but I am sure we could work something out if anyone were to fly
or bus into town). If anyone is interested in more information and
registration information, please let me know (directly to my account) and I
will get it to you.
