What many of your replys to me are failing to observe is that BSA will
NOT win all the pending discrimination cases, wether from GAYS, or GIRLS
or the GODLESS! Scouting througout the world is still stong and groing
with the all legal cost of the BSA. BSA will eventually lose on all
points, the handwritting is already beginning to appear. Wether you
like it or NOT, the COURTS will regulate BSA if BSA does not change
to accomodate GIRLS, GAYS and GODLESS. This is not just my personnal
opinion. It has been expressed by many others, including the regional
director of UW.
Now this is my own opinion: Faced with utlimate loss, CUT the loses,
make a plan to deal with CO-ED scouting like the rest of the world!
Stop the descimination and make scouting a better program for it.
Find a way to accept that others choose not to believe as you do and
create a program that can co-exist, otherwise the courts will tell BSA
how run the programs, if there are any programs left when the courts
are done, and BSA has spent all the finances and endless legal battles.
I hate the idea of these changes as much as anyone, but I have learned
some hard lessons of reality, ie. those with the GOLD make the rules!
