Adrian and others upset about the amount of information that I provided:
When dealing with someone that does not understand the "whys" and "reasonings"
of our brand of scouting, a lengthy explaination is necessary. I have
written this particular one three times before transposing it here so that
I could avoid this problem. If your disk quota went sky high because of it,
please accept my apologies and if necessary, extract the message to a txt file
and read it at your lesure.
Again, I am attempting to explain to someone what a lot of us know already
about America's Scouting programs....from the top down. Your input and
things that I have left out (for example: Someone told me that I left out
in my listing of committees the important ones of Advancement and Nominating.
How else can the Council get its share of Eagles, Exploring Achievement
Award, and lifesaving awards which must be sent to the national Board of
ooops....As far as I know "walk-ins" are allowed at the NOAC...they just
have to pay a little and could not participate in all activities....
