change in AOL ceremony invitation

Greetings! Thanks for all the wonderful messages sent in response to my
bragging on my Webelo Scouts.
I have just been informed by my CubMaster that the Arrow of Light ceremony will
be NEXT Thursday (April 30), instead of in May.
I know that your thoughts and best wishes will be with "my boys" during our
ceremony. I'm looking forward to it ---- hey! I just said that without
tearing up! My boss sure gave me lots of strange looks yesterday. Everytime
he came into my office, I had just read a response to my posting. I told him
On a related thought -- at lunch I was talking to a friend about Friday's
cross-over. The lady in line behind me asked if I was involved in Boy Scouts.
I explained and she said she had a son in 1st year Webelos. Turns out she is a
Mormon, and we started talking about the Mormons and Scouting. She says at her
church that there are so many other activities for the adults and youth, that
the Scouting program almost gets lost. All of the adults have a "calling" and
the youth all have other obligations. She said the Scouting program was not
the primary youth activity for the youth at her church! It was interesting,
