A moment of introduction: I am a 34 year-old Assistant Scoutmaster
in Troop 163, Tamaroa District, W.D. Boyce Council, Peoria, Illinois.
We are located in Washington, Ill. and chartered by the First United
Methodist Church of Washington. We have fifty scouts registered this
year, and approx. 20 registered adults. I grew up in Washington and
was in 163 as a boy, from 1968 to 1971. I rejoined 163 in September
of 1981, and have been active ever since. My wife is a Brownie leader
with my daughter Chris, and my son Brenton should be a Tiger cub in
about a year and a half.
I've been reading this for about a week and a half, and find it
very interesting. Especially hearing viewpoints from other areas
of the country, other than my own.
The river, the dark and secret river,
full of strange time, is for ever flowing
by us to the sea.
