Greetings, Fellow Scouters!
As a scout a few years ago, I heard a song that was truly inspirational
to me, as I was 17 at the time and just after I became an Eagle Scout.
I haven't heard the song since, and I don't remember all the words. Can
some old-timer (or new-timer; I heard this song 12 years ago) help me
identify this song? I'm looking for the words and, if possible, a musical
score. I believe it starts off as:
TRUE HEARTED MAN
I once met a wide-eyed boy
Whose heart was filled with love and joy
He longed to live the life that he chose
Until the day that he'd lose
So he climbed all the mountains and crossed all the streams
And lived the life of a true-hearted man
Does this ring any bells? Please e-mail back to me ASAP, as I will not
be at this e-mail address much longer (I'm graduating from the university
in a few months), and it may take a while to set myself up with e-mail
where I'll be next.
Yours in Scouting,
