I know, I know, I keep bringing this up at regular intervals. If you are
keeping track, I tend to bring this subject up just before I have to run
a weekend campfire. This weekend I am the MC for two campfires. Soooo
Does anyone out there (out of the 151 subscribers) have any skits and
or walkons that they would like to contribute to us? These should not
repeat skits and walkons already repeated here and available from the listserve
r. However, if in doubt, type away -- each of us can use a chuckle or two.
Ok me first. How do Cub Scouts tell time?
Leader: (All scouts assemble up front) "We want to show you how Cub
Scouts can tell what time it is."
All: Every boy talks loudly, making lots of noise then stops as soon
as the leader waves them off. All cup their hand to their ear and
listen in dead silence... result nothing
All: Every boy screams again (louder this time) and again listens
in dead silence. result nothing
All: One last time they scream all the louder, finish together (that's
the hard part) and cup their hand to their ear to hear.
result: Some one in the back, usually a gruff scouter yells
"What's all this noise? Don't you know it's 3: am in the
morning?" HA HA

PS If I've told this here before I apologize. I seem to remember typing this
but can't find it in my notebooks. This one is my current favorite.
