The roundtables in my district are run this way and it works! Here
are some other suggestions:
o We have a "store" where many programming materials and forms
(short term camping, advancement, ...) are available. This
is especially helpful since our district covers 4 counties.
o Both Cub and Scouts meet at the same place/time. General opening
fun, and announcements are made, the be break out for about 35-45
o Consider having (for Boy Scouts) a Junior Leader Roundtable for
the Senior Patrol Leaders. Since they are the ones running the
troop, there is a lot of info they need. The SPL then break out
into their own session like the others.
Any other ideas???
