In a knot over knots!

Wow! so many things to comment about. First, The 100
scouts thing. Wouldent it be nice if we cold say out of 100 scouts
100 got eagle? About the not thing, there are to many. If
you ever notice the olny pepole that wear them in any number
are fairly far away from "the front lines"(district and council
board members)the others I see wearing knots are the grey haired
"scouter reds" that all of us know have been and done everything
already. National should limit the number worn. After a while some
pepole begin to look like Generals. No adult should "out do" a
scout, or look like he is a higher rank or somthing. Its the boys
program, national should be spending time trying to improve program
for them and not knots. I realy think national has goten to BIG.
This is a prime example. True, adults do alot and should get rewarded
for it,but for me its what is in my heart. I could have been awarded
all of the knots but none of them would meen any thing if all I
did was do all the requirements for my self.
