You mean to imply that BSA should recognize patch trading as
official part of scouting and acctually conduct training on
the relative value and history behind patches and old uniforms etc?
You mean BSA should establish regulations that even BSA councils
would be required to follow?
Interresting idea? But who would do the training? Most BSA pro
types seem to have no interrest in patch trading, no idea of
values or history, even in their own council, and not aware
that there is lots of money to be made with "collectibles",
rather they view patches as an "exspence" that has to be
added as overhead to events. Posibly BSA should recognize
one or more of the national patch traders groups, and let
them organize a plan, regulations, training etc. However,
I am willing to put money on the fact that this will not
happen, and the more likely rule for the next jamo will be
NO TRADING ALLOWED!!!!
