Like Don said Its a sad day when you cant trust your own adult
scouters to trade patches with your youth. I saw at the 89' Jambo
14 year old scouts that riped off not olny younger scouts but older
scouts and adults too. Also i saw the same young scouts with OA flap
guide books and briefcases full of stacks of patches.(they must have
robbed banks to purchse all the patches). National needs to reconise
that there is more going on than what their insignia guide states.
That adults shoulkd be ableto trade with youth but...maybe have
a "patch trader chip"or somthing. Like having the outdoor code for
patch traders that states nothing about age or rank but of honsty
intregaty and common sence, we state the scout laws. is that all
we do? state? we should not have to do anything like that but if
its a problem then use the Laws insted of just reciting them
dont forget Trustworthy is the first, what does that meen? Worthy
of trust, all of us say that when we join. Why now does National or
the Jambo not trust us now?
