One other note on all this paranoia. My wife is not a citizen of the U.S.,
when we moved to Tucson and I was transfering our registration and the then
Troop Committee Chairman who was going to be District Commissioner in two
months got all excited when she found out my wife was not a U.S. Citizen.
She did not seem to think you could register if you were not a U.S. Citizen
(Dave Miller does this Sound kind of silly to you? - For those not
aware, Dave is an Englishman working in Germany who is being conned
into registering with BSA in Germany.).
In a nice sort of way, I told her she did not know what she was talking
about and my wife's application was processed along with the rest of them.
Somewhat amazing was the
fact that she did not complain or even note that neither of my boys at the
time were U.S. Citizens (since then, one turned eighteen and was
