The BEST source of clip art is the national Communications Division, BSA.
Susan or ?!?!? (I forgot the other lady there...) handles internal communication
s to include sending units and councils clip art....they would be happy to s
you some.....here is a sample of what they have:
EVERYTHING you see in the INSIGNIA Control guide (emblems, patches, ranks)
WOODBADGE items for letters and letterheads
EXPLORING items for letters and letterheads as well as generic Exploring
patches and insignia
CAMP SCHOOL pictures, camp settings, illustrations for camping booklets and
CONSERVATION pictures, HORNADAY awards, and other related items....
SCOUTS in uniforms, both male and female, black and white...
RELIGIOUS EMBLEMS from most religions....both youth and adult
LOGOS of current Scouting program emhphasis and the new BSA logo in black andd
OTHER assortment of stuff that does not fit in any catagory above (like SME
and Memorial items....year pins....stuff like that).
I have everything that Natioanl has put out in the last ten years (by default
all members of the old BSA Communications Committee got a copy in the mail
each Janurary) so I would be happly to copy what I have an send it your way.
Only thing is..everything I have is in storgae and I cannot get to it until
late October....so it would be better to reach national and tell them
SPECIFICALLY what you need. (and please don't say "everything"....unless
you really intend on using everything. The resources they have there is
quite limited and we have lost a lot more clip art to people requesting "
everything you have" when they try and honor it and send the last copies of
for example the OA clip art sheet.)
If you need clip art that national does not have, please let me know and
I will try and accommodate you. Again, please be patient....in moving here
I placed all of my Scouting stuff in storage so that it would be out of the
way while someone else assumes my apartment and position there. Hopefully,
I will return to the EKU in the fall (October is what I am shooting for; the peo
ples here say in August!) so I could send you thing s then!s
