While my message seems to be much more moderate than most (your words), it
does strike a chord in many that are very relucant about homosexauls (and yes,
I do owe you thanks for the numbers and reminding me about bisexauls) becoming
My Dad told me once (and I am sure that other parents have told their children)
that "you have to crawl before you can walk...". I am applying that adage to thi
s situation because I feel thyat it is very approviate here.
I am not out "change the BSA" as someone else (I don't remember who it was)
stated...I *am* out to help make Scouting accessible to everyone that would
like to use the program....as long as their reasoning is in line with the
mission and aims of the BSA. I stand my my statements concerning my personal
concerns about gay/lez/bis serving as full participants in the programs.
As you can probably tell it is really early in the morning and its been an
extremly long 72 hours here in Alexandria...not to mention that someone from
the "other shop" was shot and killed at the same busstop where I was just 45
So my notes are short at this point.
