This topic is, of course, controversial, but it is also worthy of discussion.
If we didn't discuss anything controversial...the only thing left would be
"What was the date of your camporee, again?" I encourage each and every
subscriber to think about their feelings and values on this issue. If you
don't want to make them public, that's fine...however, DO take the time to
think about them. Pedofilia is an obvious buzz word in the BSA, and any
other youth organization. It has had a LARGE impact on the way we run events
and train leaders, but has Ken pointed out...pedofilia and abuse are NOT the

As for the image of the list, I'm rarely worried about that. The thing I do
worry about (as expressed in my last mailing) is the tendancy to post
personal "slams" on lists. Not seeing a person eye-to-eye can make it easy
to call them dumb, and their ideas stupid. THAT is what has no place on
