Re: Parents who push too much

I have a problem regarding a matter which is completely opposite to
the problem about parents and so on. This is also regarding parents. In my
country, we have a certain problem which deters kids from attending scouting
activities. I was an Assistant Scout Master in my high school and I found
that kids who signed up to be members of my organization tend to have bad
attendance. They give certain baseless reasons for their actions such as
"I have a lot of homework" etc.
Further more when we send warning letters to them when they don't
show up for two consecutive meetings, I get many angry parents calling me up
in the middle of the night requesting me to give reasons for such a "rash"
action. It was not easy to remove a scout from the organization because the
process will take too long a time and also involve too many unconcerned parties.
