My understanding that there was a period (not so long ago) when older Scouts
could wear the green shirt that had "Boy Scouts of America" on it even if
they weren't Explorers. It was the going fashion for camp staff in my
council for awhile. Notice the new shirts say "Exploring, BSA".
You're right about the loops. Unless all of them are somehow registered on
the district or council committee, it seems to be incorrect. NOT TO START A
NEW THREAD, but it is similar to camp staff members or lodge level OA
officers wearing silver loops, or section level OA officers who aren't on
the Area Committee wearing gold loops.
The red tie sounds kind of cute to me, but hey, its their chosen uniform, I
