There are several historic trails in the Washington, D.C. area as well
as several other historic areas within easy distance of Washington (such as
Annapolis, Gettysburg, Antietem, Manassas, the C & O Canal Trail).
Probably your best bet would be to contact the National Capital Area
Council at 301-530-9360 and ask for information about this. They almost
certainly have a "Where to go Camping" book.

Hello Fellow Scouters,
Soon my patrol is going to Washington D.C. Is there any badge, award,
medal that can be earned by visiting a certain museum, or by walking a
certain trail in the D.C. area.
