Maybe I'm just obsessed with these new awards, but here goes...
This is what I understand:
1. The Outdoor Bronze Award OR the Arts & Hobbies Bronze Award OR the
Sports Bronze Award OR the Youth Ministry Bronze Award OR the Sea Scout
Ordinary Rank is a prerequisite for earning the Venturing Gold Award.
2. The Sea Scout Ordinary Rank is a prerequisite for earning the Sea Scout
Able Rank (just as it is now).
3. The Sea Scout Able Rank is a prerequisite for earning the Sea Scout
Quartermaster Award (again, just as it is now).
4. The Venturing Gold Award is a prerequisite for earning the Venturing
Here are my questions, just to get things clear:
1. Is the following statement correct? "The Venturing Gold Award OR the
Sea Scout Able Rank is a prerequisite for earning the Venturing Silver
2. Which of the following two awards is the prerequisite for the Outdoor
Venturing Ranger Award? The Venturing Gold Award or the Venturing Silver
Award? Are either prerequisites, or does the Ranger Award have a seperate
prerequisite system, like the Quartermaster Award?
Now, if I offend anyone with these questions or statements, please realize
that the offense is purely unintentional. :-) I'm just trying to make
sure I know what's going on. Also, I'll understand if no one has definite
answers to these questions. However, if you do know the answers, please
respond. Finally, if I've made any errors, please feel free to correct me!
Yours in Scouting,
Alex C. J. Neroth
