Sea Scouts never cared for the name Sea Explorers. That was FORCED upon us
and was never accepted. You may notice that we recently completely dropped
the "wilting billious green 'E'". Sea Scout Skipper like me NEVER used it.
As commodore of my local council squadron, I spent more than a few of my own
$$$$ to reprint literature and reembroider insignia to reflect Sea Scouts,
not, if you'll pardon the expression, "Exploring".
In the midst of the rain, the web-footed Scouts are filled with the
warmth of the sun. In the midst of the rain, a little sun has shone!
