I'd be interested in hearing more about how your CPR Saturday program was
set up & run. Our local Red Cross just had their first CPR Saturday about
6 weeks ago & our Explorers helped with registration. We just did Adult
CPR. How did you get through both adult & child so quickly? We did a 4
hour course. Were yours longer?
We had around 200 people come through & get certified. We're looking
forward to having more people next year & planning has already started.
Our post is hoping to be allowed more involvement in planning it, since we
are hospital sponsored & the hospital also helped sponsor CPR Saturday.

Our Post 911, sponsered by the San Joaquin County Chapter of the
American Red Cross, Set up and sponsored the 1997 Lodi, Calif, CPR
Saturday. Most of our youths helped as assistants to the Red Cross
provided CPR Instructors. 4 of our Post members will be certified CPR
instructors in the not to distant future.
We made all of the contacts for the event. Set up the times, dates,
instructors, films, just about everything was initiated by our Post.
345 Lodi residents were trained in Adult and Child CPR, all in ONE Day!
A lot of work, but a lot of FUN, too.
