I am not completely sure but I am a first Responder, and i think that is
the same thing as your wilderness first aid. It is pretty much the same
as a basic EMT course. It was very good. I usually set up a first
aid/CPR weekend for my CAP cadets (we are co-chartered). I usually beg
and plead with the EMT's in Columbus to put on the course and they are
uasually more than happy to oblige for a reduced cost or no cost at all.
For the cadets that have their first aid card and are 16 (the legal age
to hold a first responder card) they have the option of taking the first
P.S. We usually have a serveral training weekends at Fort Benning each
year, and the army medics do a very good refresher course on first aid.
