WL = Webelos Den Leader (Webelos are Cub Scouts in grades 4 & 5,
generally 9 & 10 years old)
CA = Assistant Cubmaster
CM = Cubmaster, the "program director" for a Cub Scout Pack
RTS (not an "official" abbreviation as the others are) = Roundtable Staff
(Roundtable is a monthly gathering of leaders and is a combination of
training and sharing)
MC = Committee Member (of a Cub Scout Pack, Boy Scout Troop, Explorer
Post or Varsity Team; written MC so as not to be confused with
SA = Assistant Scoutmaster
SM = Scoutmaster, the adult leader of a Boy Scout Troop
EA = Explorer Advisor, the adult leader of an Explorer Post (not the
transition from 'master to advisor, a critical difference when we're
dealing with teenagers)
Hope this is helpful. As Sir Winston Churchill said, "We are two people
divided by the same language."
